53rd Annual Black Puerto Rican & Asian Legislative Association Caucus!!!

What a time and what a day.  Hadn’t realized how many people I know within this political realm.  And there’s still room to meet more.  Not sure what the problem is but this year that challenge will be met.

Today was a day to reflect & be present with those who we’ve been blessed to rub shoulders with.   It was Albany Caucus weekend with the Black and Puerto Rican Legislative Association, the 53 or 54th time they’ve had this going on.  You know, I’ve heard stories about it since I was in middle school.  It was not only a pleasure to be around professors and upper (and lower) state official but to bring the teachings from middle school to face value while taking aback that “This is what they be doing.”  A Caucus by definition means to assemble together to just “talk.”  Not a filibuster but to counsel and have conversations.  As I heard proposals and projections for what will be plausible for City & State funding, I have to remember that as a business owner, I’m part of this conversation and on this journey.

I look forward to what it will bring for the future succession of #The #Electra #Network
